No matter the medium that the news is given to you (television, radio, internet etc.) what is important is the message, more specifically, how you felt about receiving it. This isn't generally a prophetic dream because sometimes news from the dreamworld is contrary in meaning, for instance, if you receive news of death in the family while dreaming, this may indicate an upcoming birth. Take news received while in a dream state with a grain of salt and common sense.
